Meet the Founder
Gemma Plante
As the founder and owner of Plante’s Professional Payroll Services,
My name is Gemma Plante, and I bring over 11 years of experience in Accounting, Payroll, and People & Culture. My journey began as a Payroll Clerk, then Payroll Supervisor & Benefits Officer, and later, Payroll Manager. I proudly became the first Regional Payroll Specialist from my beloved Helen of the West, before moving on to serve as a Key Payroll User on a corporate project team.
In that role, I helped configure payroll systems to ensure full compliance with West Indies regulations and collective bargaining agreements. Through my expertise, I’ve had the privilege to travel locally and regionally, managing and setting up payroll systems for newly established properties.
Every day, I give thanks to God, because this isn’t just my profession, it’s my peace, my purpose, and my passion.
